We had a busy day today. We watched Spencer this morning
so his parents could take his older brothers to the movie.
We had lots of fun. Spencer was perfect. It was just as if
he hadn't been gone the last month. This afternoon Leah,
Deborah and I went to Benjamin's 2 year old birthday party.
Benjamin came up and gave me a kiss and said Leah! His party
was so cute. His Mom had made him a really nice Mickey Mouse
cake. She is a professional cake decorator. He got lots of
nice presents.

It was great spending time with 2 of our sweet "babies."

I had a great morning in Clarkston. A group from First
Baptist Atlanta was there to help feed the children
and play with them. The kids were all having a great
time and I enjoyed being there with the sweet children
of Willow Branch.

Yesterday afternoon Mark and I went to Chamblee and spent
some great time with a family from Bangladesh. We had
some great conversations, food and fellowship with them.

This last week has been a little crazy. We had Vacation
Bible School all week at church. Leah and Deborah were
on the Praise team and did a great job. Getting to church
everyday by 8:50 am and not getting home to almost 2:00
was quite tiring. I kept the baby class this week! They
were all so sweet!!

I also had a great time of fellowship with 2 of the ladies
from Bangladesh. One of the ladies even ask for prayer.
They prepared some potato cakes for us and sent us home
with a bag of them to cook for our family.

I had a wonderful morning in Clarkston at the Apartments
helping with a "Block Party" for the kids. Smokerise
Baptist was there. They are good to come every month
to play and work with the children. The boys played a
vigorous game of Soccer outside while the girls just
played on the playground. The "international village" was
awake and busy this morning. I saw veiled women hanging
out the wash. I saw a Bhutanese Grandpa getting a hair-
cut from his son on the patio. I saw one couple sitting
on their patio placing tiles into a mosaic pattern on
a board. I'm not sure what they were making.

After the kids played we went back into the mission
and made lunches for the children. One little boy who was 3
started crying, 'I want my Momma." I told him I would take
him home so we walked to the other end of the complex where
I dropped him off with his parents who were N. African Muslims.
3 of the children from Congo, siblings, and I wiped the tables
and sweep up after the kids went home.

When I left I went by Santi and Purna's apartment.
They are Bhutanese. They lived for 17 years in a refugee
camp in Nepal. I had a pack of new little girl baby shirts
that I wanted to give them for their baby daughter.
They weren't home by I was greeted with a great big hug
by their sweet son and Santi's parent's. It was a real
special day in the village!!
