My Life Verse

Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

The Great Commission

Matthew 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Thank you notes, Newsletters, Paperwork,
School, and Errands not necessarily in that
order.

We went to serve at a Retirement Center this week.
Sarah, Leah, and Deborah sang, "God Will Make A Way."
Dad shared the message.

We had a good Christmas although we missed having
David with us!

Today we had a good day finishing our preparations
for Christmas. Mark, Sarah, and Hannah all had to work.
This afternoon I visited with a single Mom from Africa.
She needs a job. We prayed with her. She would like to
come with us to church next week. After our visit, I made
a last minute dash to Kroger along with everyone else.
We also went to get Hannah and Sarah from work.
Tonight we fixed a Mexican feast and are relaxing in
front of a movie.

A Traditional Ukrainian Christmas Carol

Today we delivered food baskets to the refugees
and immigrants I have worked with this year in
Chamblee and Clarkston. It was amazing to visit
all the families in one day but we couldn't stay
very long at each place. I am looking forward to
what God will have us do this coming year.

Leah and Deborah just finished participating in the
Christmas Dinner Theater - It's A Wonderful Life.
Performances were Dec 16 - 20th. I helped with costumes
backstage. The play was great and the gospel was clearly
presented. The girls had a wonderful time.

On December 12 and 13th Leah and Deborah participated
in First Family Christmas at First Baptist Atlanta.
They sang as part of the student choir and were
toy soldiers. It was very nice and they did a great job!

Rachel graduated from GA State University with honors-
Cum Laude, on December 14th. Graduation was held at the
Georgia Dome. Thanks to all of our family who attended
and made the night special for her. We ate at the
Varsity afterwards.

Mark and I had the privilege of seeing the Annie Moses
Band a few years ago. They are very talented and all from
one family.

Yesterday and today we have had Spencer at
our house. We have had a good time playing
although I would love to take him outside
if it would only dry up a little.
This afternoon we go to Clarkston for choir.
Tuesday we helped with homework after school.
2 of the older girls had to write "technical
papers." It was fun helping them.

We had a wonderful time in PA celebrating
Thanksgiving with our friends on their dairy
farm and spending some time with David.
We took a tour of an Amish farm and house.
Sarah, Leah, and Deborah helped milk cows.
We did some sight seeing around Northern PA,
the Poconos, saw Bethlehem and Nazareth, PA
and the new Chick Fil A David is working at.
It was alot of long hours driving. It took
16 hrs to get up and 15 hrs to get back. Normally
it is a 13 hr drive. The kids enjoyed playing
Dutch Blitz an Amish card game and of course
the food was Wonderful Gut!
