My Life Verse
Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
The Great Commission
Matthew 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Happenings
A lot of things have been happening since I last updated
the blog. I had a great meeting with Foothills church who
went to Belarus on a trip recently. The
trip went very
well and many were reached with the gospel for Christ.
We have been back at the Falls. It is great working with
some of the "old" kids again. We just had a Mom's night
out with manicures for all.

Duluth After School
Leah and I were in Duluth helping the children
with homework yesterday and today. The children
are doing testing this week. Some don't have
much homework because the teachers told them to
"relax" for testing.
Tomorrow I go with Pastor Andrew and Inna to
Foothills Baptist Church to help prepare them
for their mission trip to Belarus next week.
They have 7 people from their church going to Belarus.

Block Party in Chamblee
I had a great time at a Block Party in Chamblee
today hosted by Peachtree Corners Baptist. I got
to make lots of balloon dogs, hats, and swords.
The weather was perfect! The children had a
wonderful time. Most importantly they heard about
Jesus who died, was, buried, and rose again so that
they might go to heaven.

Duluth and Chamblee
We have had a busy week. We started out the week
with 2 families in Duluth on Monday. I always love it
when Sarah and Leah go with me! I love the families
that we work with. They are like family to us!
Mark and I had a great meeting with Tim Cummins,
my NAMB supervisor on Tuesday. We were able to talk about
where God is taking us in ministry and set some
goals for the Fall. I spent the rest of the week
helping in after school at the apt in Chamblee. One
of the girls made and gave me a beautiful heart. We
will be helping with a big Block Party outreach on
Saturday.

Homeschooling in Siberia
Today I met with a sweet Mom and her son.
She was born in Moldova and raised in Russia.
At the age of 17 she accepted Christ as her
Savior. Her family is moving this summer to
Siberia to be missionaries. They are not going
with an agency but stepping out on faith and
going to serve the Lord in Yekaterinburg in
Siberia. This is the town that was made famous
as the last place where Czar Nicholas II and his
family lived and were murdered. She is planning
on homeschooling when they move. I was able to
have a meeting with her to introduce
homeschooling and how we do it to her.

FBC Norcross
Harmony, the trio that Deborah is in, sang
a mini concert at First Baptist Norcross this
past Sunday evening. They did a great job!
They had quite a turn out of fans to hear them
sing including Matthew, the FBA youth director and
associate choir director. We all ate at Jasons Deli
after the concert. The Acnhormen, a southern gospel
quartet, also performed. They are so good! They
were very encouraging to the trio! I videotaped 3
of the songs but Deborah doesn't want me to include
them so I am posting only pictures.
ESL In Evening
On Tuesday evenings I have been teaching ESL
at Azalea Place in Chamblee. All of our students
have been from Guatemala. The last 2 week however
we have not had any students come to class because
now with the time change the men especially are
out working later. It is great that they have work but
disappointing to Penny the other teacher and myself.
Last night Penny had brought curtains that she made
for the front window of the mission. She had bought
a tension rod at Walmart. Well the 2 of us could not
get the rod to work. Finally we ask one of the boys
if his Dad might have a screwdriver we could us. A
few minutes later the Dad came down to the mission
to help us. Success! I guess it takes a man!
Leah and I had fun reading with some of the little
girls!

ESL at Azalea Place
We had a great class ESL class at Azalea Place in
Chamblee tonight. Our intermediate class only had 3
students but Penny's beginning class had about 7 students.
Leah came and helped me. Tonight we studied about going
to the Doctor and sickness. I had my grab back of
medical stuff - medicine, thermometer, stethoscope,
etc. We also read the story of Jesus calming the storm.
Good evening!
