1st Day back for the Afterschool Program

We had a leadership meeting Sunday afternoon to pray
and plan for the upcoming year of ministry at The Falls
apartment complex. The Falls is a large complex - 520 units.
It is at about 92% occupancy. The majority of the residents
are of a Hispanic background. We also have Asians, Indians
and other people in the complex. Most of our participating
families are Latino.

Yesterday was our 1st day back. As we waited for the kids
it was calm sitting in the rearranged, redecorated room.
Marco, Paola, Sarah and I spent the better part of the morning
getting the room ready. Then the fun began as the children
started to fill up the room. It was a wonderful and a little
crazy 1st day back!
