We had a great time today visiting with Gordon and
Gail Roderick from Chattanooga, TN and Pastor
Alexander and Leana Kupenko from Voronkiv, Ukraine.
I have known the Kupenkos for the last 6 years.
The Voronkiv church is where we have served in
missions. It was good to catch up and especially good
to see them and here about all that has happened
there this year. This is the 1st summer that I have
not been to Ukraine in 6 years. I have missed going
so much. Thank you God for good christian friends
around the world!

We ran errands all day yesterday. First we started by
taking Hannah to work. Then I went to pick up David who had
dropped his car off for a tune up and repairs. He leaves
next week for Pennsylvania. We left David at the house and
went to FBA to pick up school supplies that a friend had left
at the church for the mission. Leah, Deborah, and I ate lunch
at La Botana. After lunch we went by my parents to take back
a cake dish of my Mom's. When we left their house in Chamblee
we drove up to Buford to Hamilton Mill to pick up Sarah from
work. As soon as we got home with Sarah I took David back
to Snellville to get his car. David and I dropped off some
items at Goodwill and then picked up Pizza for dinner. After
dinner Leah and I went to the Grocery store. Then I came home
and started cleaning. Our Ukrainian friends, Alexander and Leana
Kupenko are in the U. S. and will be visiting us today. He is the
pastor of the Voron'kiv church where we serve.

Just got back from Passion City Church with Rachel and Sarah.
It met tonight at the Cobb Galleria. Louie Giglio spoke on
Grace. We were on the front row. It was very good!!

This has been one of the craziest weeks ever.
I started out on Monday going to the Dr. My
blood pressure has been high lately. Just like
I expected, I was started on BP medicine. Both
of my parent's take BP medicine. When I started
taking it Monday it made me feel really funny
and a little dizzy. I think I have slowly gotten use
to it over the week. Mark got hurt on Wednesday. We
went to the ER. He had x-ray's of his knee. The Dr.
said no breaks or chipped bones. He is on crutches
and has a knee immobilizer. He has an Orthopedic
appointment on Tuesday. Ministry has been crazy
too. Things have happened that are discouraging and
challenging. The children are their beautiful sweet
selves and make it all worthwhile. I am personally
in the midst of some decisions. We are also trying to
help get David ready to move to Pennsylvania next week.

Family Heritage Concert

The last few days have been a whirlwind but last night
we made it to the Family Heritage Concert. All the
work and preparation was worth it as the children sang,
played, and shared the love of Jesus with all who attended.
We were blessed by Jerry Cloer our MC, Beverly Minor our
soloist, Gary Menzies our concert pianist, and Cham
Meredith our violinist. Thank you to everyone who came out
to support our ministry. I am going to attempt to post
a few pictures. The camera was acting up but I'll post
more later. We got home at midnight after making sure all
the children were back safe at home in their apartments.

Children of the World

I saw Children of the World at church tonight. They are so
cute an did an awesome job presenting God's love.
