This morning Mark and I went to Clarkston to meet with Santi and his family. They are from Bhutan. He and his wife have 2 children, a son age 6, and a daughter age 2. They are expecting another baby in the next few weeks. Santi and his family were relocated to the U.S. 7 months ago. For the last 17 years he has lived in a refugee camp in Nepal. He became a Christian in 1992 and has been working in Christian ministry for the last 7 years. He helped plant 18 churches in Nepal. Santi has applied to North American Mission Board to work as a Missionary Service Corp Missionary like me. We enjoyed really great fellowship with Santi and his family this morning. They are a wonderful family. I am looking forward to working with them and the expectant and new Mom's from Bhutan and Nepal.
